Life of Rixlor

The project title chosen is "Life of Rixlor"

Rixlor is an Orc who was recruited from his home village into the armies of the orc god Bargrivyek and rises through the ranks in the Outer Planes (eventually becoming a demigod), falls out of grace with a rival at Bargrivyek's court, and then returns home to be a guardian spirit in one of the corner watch towers of Old Thalos on the planet of Jord.  He is befriended by a dream-entity called Takālu who advises him and teaches him elemental tactics to use in his battles, usually between battles but sometimes several battles in a row happen before she appears again.

The genre of the imagined game is a tactical RPG or overworld strategy game when Rixlor is awake and fighting battles, and the dream sequences when he sleeps/meditates with his fairy advisor are little dungeon crawler roguelike minigames (but not intended to be as hard as the battles).

So what i did was take the provided theme and made "in my world" (meaning, in Takālu's world) the dream half of a binary 2-genre game.

The cover art uses vaguely the same ideas as the picture theme -but- I want to emphasize pretty strenuously that i spent several hours drawing elements and doing object placement in Paint 3D.  So when there's -pieces- of AI it's little chunked elements.  No -global- prompt was used on any of the cover art for the tracks or for the album as a whole (by which I mean i didn't use it to build an entire scene in a single step).

The soundtrack was created on a Roland FA-08 synthesizer and then edited in Mixcraft 10.5 Pro Studio.  MuseScore was used to create the sheet music socre PDFs from the MIDI's that are exported off the synthesizer.  MuseScore's online aspect can also play the sheet music while it pages through it in a simplified way, just remember the instrument selection inside MuseScore, is far less than on the synthesizer, so what is described as the instruments in the sheet music may vary from how the exported WAV files sound.

The album will be released on Spotify and the other platforms after I have submitted on itch.io, through DistroKid.  It will also form the bulk of my 16th more general album Ešrā whose release is pending adding a few more tracks so that it has closer to 15 tracks total when i release.
