Palimpsest of Fallen Hegemony
A downloadable soundtrack
Extended-play album version of my submission for Impressions Composing Jam : OST #2, hosted by KaleOverlord for Itch.IO for March 2025.
It comprises 5 tracks, each one of which corresponds to a painting by Cole in the 1830's-1840's chronicling each historical stage of Empire.
Usual caveat that the MuseScore PDF's have different instruments due to that app's limitations compared to instruments in the Roland FA-08.
The pixel art square and subvariants were done into stages inspired by the way the British Decimal coin set has in some years had different sections of the Heraldic Arms of Great Britain which when placed together in the set-case form the entire armorial bearing. And then just vaguely also the fact that their 20-pence piece is a polygonal thing.
The Youtube link in the page is set to only Zephyr Dawn (01) because Distrokid has not pushed the entire EP-album form to YT yet, but will in the coming days shortly.
